Paul over at South Denver Automotive is the BEST! We purchased a used Ford F150 and took it in to do a comprehensive inspection and perform any necessary repairs & maintenance. Paul was super helpful and informative; he walked me through the entire inspection report, made great suggestions on what the “must” do items are and what can wait a bit. He also gave me helpful tips on keeping the truck in its best performance. Throughout the entire process, he kept me informed of the timeline. I had a great experience and they will be my go-to shop for all our vehicles from now on!
Recently my senior dad was having transmission problems and unable to drive the car. I live out of state so I looked online for auto repair shop reviews and tried to pick out a shop that had good ratings. I was looking for one with experience, reliability, honesty and good communication. I called a few shops including South Denver Automotive. I was struck by the immediate call back and the knowledge of Paul. I decided to get an evaluation there and was given the name of a tow company to get the car to the shop. They diagnosed the transmission along with other issues and sent me paperwork showing the cost of each needed maintenance or problem. My questions were answered with patience and professionalism. We were able to determine which issues we wanted to tackle right away and which we wanted to wait on. The staff continued to keep me informed of the progress being made. The vehicle was finished in a few days and the staff was kind enough to drive the car to my Dad’s house, about 2 miles away. All of this was communicated from our state of Washington. If we lived in Denver, we would be taking our own vehicles to South Denver Automotive. Thank you and all your staff for your help!

Working with the staff at South Denver Automotive has been a wonderful experience. They offer honest and reliable service at reasonable prices. In a day and age where quality customer service is a lost art, the staff here excels above and beyond. In fact, I was so pleased with the customer service provided by Chris and Paul that I plan on making this my permanent auto repair and service shop. I initially brought my car in because there was a loose bolt in the trunk of my car that was causing the back spoiler to flap in the wind. The dealership wanted to charge me $250 for a diagnostic, which did not include whatever it would cost to actually fix the car. I felt a diagnostic was unnecessary because I already knew what was causing the problem. I went to South Denver Automotive and they fixed it the same day at a much cheaper rate. The customer service was impeccable and they even ordered a Lyft home while my car was being fixed. I have subsequently brought my car back when the check engine light came on and my car was diagnosed the same day and fixed in a timely manner. Paul was extremely communicative and made sure to keep me informed every step of the way. Thanks so much for taking care of my car and continuing to be the best!
Yikes! I usually drive 25 min to Centennial for my mechanic but thought I would save time & give South Denver Automotive a try since they are 5 min from my house. I was looking for a closer, trustworthy mechanic but this was not it! I was looking for someone to change my radio fuse, and the guy on the phone quoted me $125 which was the same quote that I received at my trusted mechanic so I gave them a chance. When I picked up my car, my invoice was $200. The guy on the phone may have mistakenly given me a low estimate but definitely wasn't prepared to pay $200 to pop in a radio fuse. I let the guy who invoiced me know that and his response was like "What's the problem?" and my response was like "That's really expensive for a fuse, and I was quoted over the phone something lower." So I got overpriced for a fuse, I chalked it up to "City" Pricing. I can move on. However, about 7 months later, my car stalled on a mtn pass at night!! I took it to my trusted mechanic, and they said my battery, alternator, etc was fine...but they did notice that my connector was loose!! They didn't want to point any fingers and neither will I however, it's just too close of a coincidence for me to not think SD Automotive had a play on it since they were the last mechanic I took my car to. I've only taken my car to one mechanic in Centennial and will stick with them. Maybe they had something to do wiith it...maybe not...but risking my life and safety is not forgivable in my book, and I'm a pretty forgiving person lol. Pretty suspicious circumstances. Probably wouldn't return, no trust can be found here.
Hands down the best place I've ever been for my car. Was told by a couple different places it would be between 1500 and 2k. Went to South Denver Automotive and fixed it for under 400 and that included the oil change i originally needed. They were honest and quick. Even paid for me to get home while they worked on my car. They are true professionals that genuinely love what they do and it shows in the service and the way they treat you. Nick worked on my car and will as long as im in Denver. Saved me alot of 💰
