Monarch Restaurant

This restaurant was honestly such a 10/10 experience from start to finish!! My friend and I came here to celebrate graduation, and everything exceeded expectations. The window view was sooo pretty, and the atmosphere was perfect for a special night out. Our server was incredibly thoughtful and generous — genuinely some of the best service I’ve ever experienced :) They were super attentive, fast, and made the whole night feel extra special. We started off with champagne while looking over the cocktail menu, and decided on the Lonely Fans and the Lychee Martini. Both were amazing, but the Lychee Martini was definitely my favorite — it looked gorgeous and tasted even better, literally a 10/10. For appetizers, we got the calamari frito with tomato dip and the pot dish with whipped ricotta alongside fresh bread. Everything was sooo good. We were also given rosé and tequila shots, which made the experience even more fun :) For entrées, we ordered the shrimp cami ravioli and the herb ricotta almoni, and to finish everything off we had the chocolate banana cake — definitely my favorite dessert of the night!! Overall, the service was super quick, the staff was so attentive, and the entire experience felt thoughtful and memorable. Will 100% be coming back again!!

We recently visited Monarch to celebrate a special occasion, and overall, it was a memorable evening with some incredible highlights. From the moment we pulled up, the valet staff set a wonderful, welcoming tone—they were exceptionally respectful, prompt, and made arrival and departure completely effortless. Despite a brief 5 to 8-minute wait past our reservation time for our table to be prepared, the front-of-house team managed everything smoothly. The atmosphere in the dining room is stunning, and the staff made us feel welcomed right away. Being presented with personalized celebratory menus upon sitting down was an incredible touch that made the night feel unique. When it came to the meal, the food quality and presentation were superb across every course. We ended our dinner with the lemon and peach desserts, both of which were fantastic standouts (solid 8/10). The lemon was light and refreshing, while the peach was visually stunning, even if the filling was just slightly rich for the delicate fruit flavor. Where our experience fell short was in the pacing and the server's menu guidance. The wait times between courses were noticeably stretched, drawing the evening out longer than expected. When our waitress helped us order, she suggested we share a single steak and a pasta dish, but didn't recommend any sides to complement the meal—we only ended up getting one because I happened to notice the oyster mushrooms on the menu and brought them up myself. The portion sizes were surprisingly small to split, leaving us underwhelmed after the main course. It was also jarring to hear her recommend much more expansive menu options to neighboring tables later in the night. To top it off, toward the end of the meal, she informed us that we hadn't met the minimum spending requirement yet and offered to order us more food. Our entire goal for the night was simply to have an incredible, seamless dining experience regardless of cost, so being steered toward a lighter menu early on, only to be reminded of a price threshold at the end, felt disjointed. Monarch undoubtedly delivers on atmosphere, hospitality, and culinary quality. With more proactive, attentive menu guidance and better kitchen pacing, it would easily be a 5-star destination. We still enjoyed our celebration overall and appreciate the staff's warmth throughout the night.
