I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Hampton Inn and the incredible team that makes this property shine. We recently hosted an event here, and from start to finish, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. First and foremost, GM Garrett is truly a standout leader. His attention to detail, genuine care for guests, and charming personality set the tone for the entire property. You can feel his presence in the culture of the team — professional, warm, and always focused on making every stay memorable. Garrett goes above and beyond to ensure important issues are handled with care and that guests feel valued, welcomed, and supported. A huge thank you as well to: Larry, Director of Sales, who was incredibly helpful, responsive, and accommodating throughout our event planning. Danny, Front Desk Supervisor, who leads with calm professionalism and kindness. Rashad in Maintenance, who keeps the property in pristine condition. The entire front desk staff, who are consistently friendly, efficient, and welcoming. Seth in Security, whose presence adds an extra layer of comfort and professionalism. The rooms deserve special praise. They are spotlessly clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed for both comfort and functionality. There’s a real range of room types to fit different needs - from standard king and double queen rooms, to adjoining rooms perfect for families or groups, to larger suites with couches and sitting areas that feel more like a small apartment than a hotel room. What really stands out is how intentionally designed the rooms are. The pull-out shelves next to the beds, spacious bathroom layouts, built-in basket drawers in the stands, and well-placed outlets make it incredibly easy to settle in and feel at home. These are the kinds of details you don’t realize you need until you have them -and once you do, every other hotel feels less convenient. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, the rooms are quiet, and everything feels fresh and well-maintained. Whether you’re staying one night or a full week, the rooms are designed to support real living - not just sleeping. The property itself is stunning: A beautiful, welcoming lobby Prime location across the street from Gene Coulon Park On-site gym and pool Lobby convenience store Rooftop patios ADA-accessible rooms and spaces Adjoining rooms and suites Security on site And the complimentary breakfast is honestly one of the best I’ve had at any hotel - eggs, sausage, and an excellent waffle station with great batter and lots of topping options. It feels curated, not generic. Overall, the Hampton Inn is clearly run with pride and purpose. The property is immaculate, the staff is outstanding, and the leadership shows in every detail. 100% recommend for out-of-town travelers, business stays, family visits, events, or even a local getaway. Between the incredible team (especially GM Garrett), the beautifully designed rooms, and the unbeatable location, this hotel truly delivers a top-tier hospitality experience.

We flew into Seatac and wanted a place to stay overnight before driving to Leavenworth. I'm very pleased with this hotel. It was clean, spacious and check in was very efficient. The free breakfast is better than most complimentary breakfasts, with a good variety of options. Across the road is a lovely park with beauiful views of Lake Washington. I'd gladly stay here again. I think I might be done with the Hampton brand. I did the "select your room" option with the digital key. There was one room on each floor available for my reservation "type." Each was a sliver of a room sharing the stairwell wall. If you've ever stayed at ANY Hampton, you know that stairwell door slams throughout the night and you can hear every foot hit every step. Well, that was my choice. So I felt forced to upgrade $30 to a room more centrally located within the hallway - away from the dreaded stairwell and the elevator. Didn't help. There were doors slamming throughout the night followed by someone auditioning for American Idol singing the same song loudly, on repeat. There were construction zones with yellow tape and plastic sheeting all over floor 5, although some were cleared by the morning, so I assume that was the source of most of the night time noise. So, room 501 for another $30 probably wasn't worth it.
I've stayed here before and had a nice stay, but my most recent trip this weekend was disappointing. First: the parking is currently not secure. The gate at the entrance to the parking garage does not appear to be working and was up the whole stay. We did not need the key to scan in or out. Second: the maintenance is shabby. The hotel appears to have been working on something inside the walls on the second floor, requiring squares of wallpaper to be cut away. These were resecured with painters tape, which was obviously not up to the job. The wallpaper was flipped down with the loose tape still attached to it for the entire visit. Lastly: when we opened up the pull-out couch bed, there was a large deceased insect sitting on top of the sheets, which appeared to have been caught there when the bed had been previously folded up by the cleaning staff. This raised some pretty obvious questions about cleanliness. For the positives: digital check in and out was easy. The digital television controls actually worked (not always a given at Hampton Inns). The pool area was nice for kids.
The Hampton Inn has a wonderful location, a quarter of a mile from Lake Washington and Gene Coulin park. The hotel is very clean and they provide an excellent breakfast with eggs, sausage, biscuits gravy and muffins. The lemon scones were particularly good. The best part of our visit was the customer service provided by Theo at the front desk! We asked about some place to hike and he had two suggestions that he wrote down. We did the Snoqualmie Falls and it was wonderful!! I would be happy to return here and I would enjoy getting some more great tips from Theo, he is an outstanding representative of Hampton Inn!
