I had a wonderful experience at the Courtyard Atlanta Downtown. DJ at the front desk was incredibly helpful in finding me a room for the few days I needed to stay. Jocelyn in the restaurant was also very kind and welcoming. A special thank-you to Alex, the Valet Manager, and his entire team. They were always accommodating and never hesitated to make things convenient whenever I needed access to my car or was heading out. I was on crutches because of an injury, and everyone made a genuine effort to help me move around safely and comfortably. Their kindness and attentiveness made a difficult situation much easier. I truly appreciated the excellent service and would happily stay here again.
I had a pleasant stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta Downtown. Despite arriving as a walk-in due to a canceled flight, they were able to accommodate me promptly. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, featuring running hot water and a refrigerator for food storage. Additionally, they kindly allowed a late checkout. I would rate my experience 4 out of 5 stars, with the only drawback being the parking fee of up to $55.

Honestly, I was a bit conflicted about this review, because I genuinely had a decent experience with much of the property, but two key issues stuck out. The hotel itself is located in a very solid area- walking distance to multiple MARTA stations, and easy access to shopping and dining in the area. The hotel is located in a historic building, and has a slightly smaller lobby area, but still complimented with a full market area, lobby restaurant, and space on the second level for conferences and a fitness center. Upon my arrival, my first stop was to the kitchen, to which I was snappily informed that the kitchen was already closed- roughly 15 minutes prior to the posted closing time, which was also mentioned at check-in. To be blunt, this put a bit of a bad taste in my mouth, when it really should've put a positive taste in mouth. I also noticed a stain in the elevator that lingered until early morning. The room itself, while slightly small, was functional. I was disappointed in the lack of a desk, but given the historical building this was placed in, it's reasonable. The beds were comfortable, and everything appeared clean, except the floor upon close inspection. Lots of dust, lint, and... an unidentifiable pill that could've caused major problems if a small child or pet found it. With a brief (yet complete) sweep, I would've been significantly happier with the room itself. Honestly, I'm not convinced I'd return to this hotel if I were in the area in the immediate future. While I felt the facilities were nice and well-maintained, the stubbornness about the restaurant after a long, busy day and the lack of a basic sweeping in the room worry me, but can be relatively easily rectified.
I frequent the Starbucks at this location and the staff makes my mornings great. With DJ at the front desk always greeting you with a warm smile, to Ms. Joycelyn always ready to greet u and take your orders and prepare the BEST drinks, to Carlos preparing the food fresh and hot. Five stars jus isn’t enough for this all star team
Was here for a school affiliated trip. The rooms were nice. There was a small creature in my classmates room, but we didn't complain. Im sure there everywhere. The views are amazing! Slow elevators. Didn't really need staff but they were always there to greet with a smile & seem readily available if needed. The location is perfect! In the middle of everything but out the way at the same time. No disturbances at night. Really enjoyed our stay!
