A must-visit spot at Dean Martin’s Lannings!!My husband and I went for date night, and everything was absolutely amazing. The steak was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The food overall was incredible, and the service was top-tier from start to finish. What made the night even more special is that this was my first night out since cancer remission, and the experience could not have been more meaningful. The owner even stopped by our table, impeccably dressed, and spoke to us so warmly — truly made us feel like family. That level of care and class is rare. Between the outstanding food, excellent service, and genuine hospitality, this was an unforgettable evening. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great meal and an even better experience.
This was our first visit and we enjoyed the great drinks, wonderful food and excellent service. We started with the following appetizers for our group of four: Escargot, Wagyu Pastrami, Oysters Rockefeller, Lobster Bisque and Wedge Salad. For entrees we tried the Fire Roasted Ribeye, Australian Wagyu Delmonico, NY Strip and Vegan Wellington. The steaks had excellent flavor - especially the Delmonico (one of the best steaks I have every had) and Strip (the Fire Roasted Ribeye presentation was very cool, but I liked the flavor of the other steaks more). We also had the Creamed Spinach and Au Gratin Potatoes as sides - both very flavorful. Our server, Stephanie L., was excellent - very attentive, offered nice recommendations and took great care of us throughout the evening. We look forward to our next visit!

What an experience! I took my husband here for the first time for his birthday, and it did not disappoint! We had drinks in the bar for a quick happy hour drink, and we would have stayed in the bar area if we didn't have reservations for dinner. Happy Hour menu is great! Sauerkraut balls are unbelievable ...so creamy. During dinner and the service, we felt like kings. WE love a good grilled octopus and his was not over done and chewy but buttery I had the Delmonico Wagyu and it was cooked to perfection. I have since then, been back for happy hour..As for Dusty to make the perfect drink for you.
Went for the first time for my birthday dinner and it was incredible. Our server was so engaging and helpful. I wanted to try Wagyu but was nervous about the fat texture, he brought over slices of the different cuts to show me and explained all the differences and how they cook down. Decided to have the Australian Wagyu filet based on this and it was the best steak I’ve ever eaten! Their house steak sauce isn’t necessary because the steak is so delicious on its own, but the sauce pushed it to outer space levels of delicious. Even the side dishes were high quality. I got a little dessert for my birthday with a card. Really a special evening. My only complaint was the 2nd server had asked to box up our food while we were still eating so that was a little disjointed from everything else. 10/10 will come back for sure, probably have told every friend I have already how good it was.
My wife recently overcame cancer and was able to ring the bell, and I want to share something that meant more to us than just a dinner. After months of chemo, exhaustion, appointments, and hard days where life felt anything but normal, we decided it was time to take our first real date night again — not just a quick bite to eat, not just “getting out of the house”… but a moment where we could breathe, reconnect, and celebrate how far she has come. We chose Dean Martin’s Lanning and I can honestly say it was the perfect choice. From the moment we walked through the door, the atmosphere was elegant, welcoming, and comforting all at once. Everything about the environment felt intentional — like you were stepping into a true dining experience, not just a restaurant. The professionalism, the pacing, the service… it genuinely reminded me of being on a Princess Cruise, where everyone has a role, everyone is assigned to something specific, and every detail is executed with excellence. The staff was beyond warm, friendly, and inviting. Not the kind of service that feels scripted — but genuine, thoughtful service that makes you feel like you matter. Like you’re being welcomed into something special. And the food… I don’t even know how to describe it other than extraordinary. Every bite felt like it was prepared with pride. Presentation was beautiful, flavor was unforgettable, and everything was cooked exactly the way a high-end dining experience should be. The steak (as you can see from the photos) was absolutely incredible — perfectly prepared, rich, flavorful, and the kind of meal you don’t forget. Even the little touches, like the rose on the table, made the night feel even more meaningful and romantic. Now don’t get me wrong — this place is not inexpensive. My mother would jokingly say you have to take out a loan to eat here 😂. BUT… she’d also say the other part — you get what you pay for. And that is 100% true here. This is one of those places where you leave knowing you weren’t just fed — you were taken care of. You were served. You were given an experience. What meant the most to me was that this wasn’t just a meal… this was our first night out as a couple again after cancer tried to steal joy from our home. And Dean Martin’s Lanning helped us take that joy back. There truly aren’t enough stars to give. Thank you for treating us like family. Thank you for the incredible food. Thank you for the atmosphere. And thank you for being part of our very first date night back — a night we will remember forever. Highly, highly recommended.
