Overall, I had a good experience staying here. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the TV in the room was very small for a hotel room, which made it a little harder to relax and watch anything comfortably. One tip for future guests: I highly recommend getting the breakfast voucher when booking your room. They do not offer a self serve breakfast, and paying without the prepaid voucher can end up costing more. Despite the small TV, the stay was comfortable and the service was great. I would stay here again.
Overall, very nice. The check in was pleasant and easy. The room was clean and comfortable. The hamburger we had was cooked well and tasted great. Negatives: The spa was empty, closed for some reason. This was disappointing as the wife and I were looking forward to relaxing in it. The fitness room was okay. I used a walking machine and the weight machine. I generally use free weights/dumbbells. Though they had a rack for the dumbbells, they had no dumbbells. Two walking machines were out of order. No free breakfast.

2/14/2026-I called ahead and was told yes they have a hot tub. Upon arrival the hot club was closed ( looks like it had been for awhile) and under repairs. The room key cards did not work on 2 of the outside entrances so had to walk around to the front. The only working ice machine was on the 4th floor. The shower pressure in our room was horrible, the shower would shut completely off for 15 seconds then come back on cold then warm back up only to return to a dribble and shut off again. We asked for more towels the 2nd morning and we were told they only had 1 towel available for the two of us. The bed sheets were not put on correctly and we had to remake the bed. The hotel was clean and the restaurant food was good ( cash only or charge to your room no credit card) but the infrastructure of the hotel needs updates and repairs. I would not recommend this hotel and until I find out if these are franchise owned I will not be using this chain again. Very disappointed for a romantic weekend getaway.
I've stayed at this Hotel in the past, and they always have great service and a wonderful staff. I grew up in Mayfield Hts., But I moved to South Florida 48-years ago, so I lost my skills at driving in the snow. I had a reservation for 3-nights, and I was only 5-hours from reaching Cleveland by car. Before I left my overnight hotel in Louisville, KY., I watched the Weather channel and saw that Cleveland was hit with 10" of snow. Since it was the day of my check-in, I knew it was too late to cancel my reservation. So I called their front desk and spoke to Mike. He was incredibly honest, and shared information that most front desk staff would NEVER share with guests. He said that "Honesty is always the best policy", and that unfortunately, the hotel had a 3rd Party contract with a HORRIBLE Snow Plow Service Company. That was completely unreliable, and didn't show up half the time they were called. Plus, their parking lot was full of snow and they were at the mercy of unprofessional Snow Plowers. Mike went over and above to "do the right thing", and he approved our last minute cancelation, and credited back to us our Hilton Honors points. Honest, professional, and courteous Hotel desk Staff are hard to find today. I applaud Mike and his staff at the Mayfield Village Hilton Garden Inn. Thank you Mike, and we will always stay at your hotel in the future.
It is a 3 star hotel. A solid "middle of the road" experience. Cons: Located in a tangled web of interconnected parking lots. Breakfast not included. Ice machine and ice bucket broken. Hot tub, ice machine, and drinking fountains out of order. Pool has a gritty bottom. All food, beverage, and laundry options require cash on as far as I could see. Had trouble making calls with the room phone. Pros: Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast can be found nearby. Room, bathroom, and bed were comfortable and clean. Pool was warm and the water was clean.
