I had a great experience working with this general contractor. They were professional, reliable, and completed the project on time. The workmanship was excellent, and they paid close attention to every detail. Communication was smooth, and they kept the work area clean throughout. I’m very satisfied with the results and would highly recommend this contractor to anyone planning a renovation. 🏠
Excellent contractor service from start to finish. The team was honest, hardworking, and completed the project with top-quality craftsmanship. Very happy with the results!
Our project was a complete main floor remodel, combining a former dining room into a large open kitchen, dining, and living room with a large walk-in pantry. Nehemiah brought in an architect to work with us on the design details. We completely changed the style of the remodeled floor, adding beamed ceilings in several rooms and high-end cabinetry throughout. Nehemiah's team was outstanding and so were the many subcontractors they employed. We trusted their team to manage our project while we were living out of state the entire duration of the project. We kept in touch via Zoom meetings, regular phone and email discussions, and several visits at key decision points. Overall, the final cost was under the original budget estimate. The quality of a contractor is determined by their people, the subcontractors they assemble, and how they handle any problems that may arise. Our 8 1/2-month project is everything we hoped it would be. Nehemiah handled warranty items professionally when they arose. We are happy to recommend Nick's team to others considering work such as ours.

Nehemiah just finished their second remodeling project at my house, and I would use them again should the need arise. I think Nehemiah is a bit more expensive than other contractors, but it was worth it to us to be able to trust the quality of their work and to deal with their very professional staff. Chris W. managed both of our projects, and he is amazing: thorough, talented, and meticulous. In addition, he is a delightful person with a great disposition. The project managers that worked with us were Ashley and Casey, and both were professional and did their jobs well. One other comment about Nehemiah’s ethic: The first project Nehemiah did for us took place during covid, during which time everyone was respectful of my request that everyone who entered my house wore masks, which could not have been easy considering the physical nature of their work.
Had a really pleasant, orderly and normal bidding process with them, was verbally confirmed to do a project in the mountains where we operate, received an email from them and responded with the appropriate COIs and documentation. Little did we realize they were out actively bid shopping while they kept us on the line just in case. If you don’t know anything about bid shopping it is an extremely shady business practice that unsavory general contractors like this engage in, in order to get the absolute cheapest price possible and make a couple extra bucks. This has no impact whatsoever on our business operations but I just thought it prudent to warn other subs not to waste your time submitting proposals to this company. Very shady business practices. Edit: Nonsense. Don't shift the blame from yourselves to the client. Own it. You wanted to make a few extra bucks so you verbally confirmed our company as doing the project while still actively sneaking around and seeing if you could get a cheaper price elsewhere. Apparently your word is not your bond and that should tell everyone all they need to know about your company and the way you conduct business. We have been working in this area for well over a decade and have an impeccable reputation here, because we conduct ourselves with honesty and integrity. We're not to blame, the client isn't to blame, YOU are - for conducting business in an unethical manner. And you deserve to be publicly called out for it.
