Their technicians don't know how to properly install a furnace nor do they know how to accurately determine what size furnace should be installed based on the square footage of a building. I had a 20 year old furnace fail and hired this company to install a new one. After the new furnace was installed and issues were still present I was told the airflow wasn't adequate enough and I would need to redo the ventilation system in the home. However, before I agreed to something like that I hired 3 other companies to get their opinion and every one of the companies said it's not a ventilation issue. The furnace was oversized for the unit and shouldn't have been installed. Thankfully, one of those companies was able to readjust the furnace to reduce it's output so it would run without any issues, but said I should have Union Heating and Air Conditioning come back and install a correctly sized furnace because the adjustments that were made will burnout the furnace and it won't last long. I explained this to Union Heating and they claimed every company was wrong and that the furnace they installed in properly sized for the unit. I even sent one of the reports from the other companies to one of their HVAC supervisors. He never directly refuted the report and said I should contact the manufacture directly regarding if it'll burnout. When I contacted the manufacture I got the typical canned response that wasn't really helpful in terms of confirming if the furnace will burnout. But the manufacture did say a load calculation should be done in order to determine which size furnace should be installed, which this company did not do based on the information I received from the other companies. When I told Union's HVAC supervisor this he said he'd contact the manufacture directly and get back to me to prove everything is legit. Months later I have yet to hear back from him or anyone from the company. Unfortunately, today I had an issue with the furnace and hired a technician from another company come service it. He was able to troubleshoot it fairly easily to get it working again, but told me the furnace is oversized for the unit and based on the settings it's on he doesn't think it'll last longer than 5 years. So now 4 companies disagree with Union Heating's assessment of things and I'm now saving up because I'm anticipating having to replace a brand new furnace in 5 years because this company didn't want to come back and install a properly sized one. Additionally, when the company first tried to charge my card for the install they entered the card information wrong somehow. Long story short after their incorrect attempt their company got blocked from processing my card by their card processing network or my bank (no one could figure it out). So I had to cancel my card and reorder a new one in order to pay them.

Our heating system was not working and a friend referred me to Union Heating And Air Conditioning. They sent a technician right away which was amazing!!! He arrived within half an hour and was so professional and friendly. He found the issue and fixed it quickly! He charged very reasonably. I would definitely recommend Union Heating And Air Conditioning to anyone who needs HVAC service!
I was originally drawn to Union Heating And Air Conditioning because they are veteran-owned. The fact that they don't have an minimum diagnostic fee or visit fee and didn't require two separate appointments sweetened the deal. The owner, Samuel came out to do the work himself. He was prompt, friendly, productive, and effective. Our issue was resolved by the time our appointment was scheduled to start.
Union Heating And Air Conditioning installed a new furnace in our home and I waited for a month to pass to write this review to make sure that our system was done right and we are very happy with it so far! The crew were a professional in their approach and work. Mark explain the work process and steps in effort to diagnose and fix the problem. Hopefully it will not disappoint us in the years to come.
I had asked for an estimate and they sent Samuel over. He was polite and professional. He even removed his shoes when coming in my house. I felt like he took the time to elaborate how a new furnace would save me money on my energy bill. I will surely recommend Union Heating And Air Conditioning now and forever!!
