I really hate to leave negative reviews, but this seemed to warrant one. Called on a Tuesday, no answer, mailbox full. Figured I'd try the send a message and they'll call you back. He did. Robert calls back, and we set a tomorrow at 3 o'clock time. No call, no show. OK, I'll try another number, I get leave a voice mail, and I did. Robert calls be back, No idea who I was or anything about me. Ok, how about today between 5-6. You guessed it, again, no call no show. Like I said, I hate to leave bad reviews but that was pretty silly, two times in two weeks, no call no show.. He/ They might do great work if you can get them there, but I wouldn't know.
Beware! Do not use this company. They came to my house and I paid them over 3,000 dollars. My lights and electrical outlets went haywire after the job. I called them back out because the claimed to "guarantee" their work. The "electrician" claimed that whatever it was it was not related to their repair and that it would cost more. When asked how he knew it was not related if he didn't know what the problem was, he set an appointment for a "more experienced electrician to come assess. The person never showed for the appointment, and the company never returned my follow-up calls. I had to hire another electrician. The first thing he asked me with regard to National Electric's work was if an inspector came out to check what they did. When I answered no. He told me that they could not have been a legitimate company. They did a major job, not inspection was performed, and I had to have the job done again. Going with this company cost me thousands. Beware! Side note: Please review their responses to negative reviews; their responses illustrate their level of unprofessionalism.

Lots of problems so I’ll make a list - Didn’t get a permit and didn’t involve utility company on job that required both - Arrived at 3 pm for a noon job keeping our autistic son awake into the night, including technician waltzing into his bedroom after he was put to bed - Adjusted our city inspection time without consulting with us, lying to inspector saying there was a “second appointment” that needed to be completed before inspection (no such appointment was made with us) - That ^ was actually to get a head start on hiding the lazy, incomplete, substandard work they did (“hi, yes we’re very early, you need to give us access to the breaker if you want it to pass inspection”) - City inspection resulted in 9 infractions - Work done didn’t address the problem we called them for in the first place (they were supposed to upgrade us to 200 amp service because 100 was overloaded, and they just replaced the 100 amp with another one resulting in original problem still occurring) - Didn’t connect AC or generator correctly - When we tried to address these problems with an attorney to protect ourselves, Robert West yelled at our attorney, accused him of faking being an attorney, lied saying he did have a permit, and hung up on him - Overcharged by at least 3x as much a job done correctly would have cost (our fault for trusting a company to appropriately charge us and to do decent, legal work) Moral of the story: don’t hire National Electric. Unprofessional and does things on the cheap and illegally to make a quick buck.
We were in a pinch and they responded immediately and eagerly to help. They resolved our issue straight away. Competitively priced and quality work. Thanks for your service!
