Excellent food, service, atmosphere. Ordered the fish and chips… they give you a HUGE fish. Absolutely delicious. The spinach queso dip w/ soft pretzels is absolutely delicious as well. I had lots of leftovers (which I love) and the waiter was great. FAST service too!
This has an amazing ambience. Its warm and inviting. The service was off. My husband entree came before the appetizer and my meal. In fact, my husband had finished his meal and we finished the appetizer before my food ever came. We were waiting for my meal for a bit. As far as flavor, the appetizer was so salty that it was overwhelming. They did give very generous portions. Overall, we loved loved that warm, inviting ambiance!
We were passing through Dayton and decided to try Dublin Pub. The atmosphere inside is really nice — great ambiance and a cool pub vibe. When we walked in, the hostess asked if we had reservations, which felt a little unusual for a pub, especially since there were plenty of open tables. Service started off fine, but the timing of the food was off. My fish and chips came out by itself, and we had to ask about my wife’s dinner and our appetizer. The appetizer arrived after that, and her entrée came out later. The appetizer was overly salty. My fish was a very generous portion, but the batter was a bit too doughy for my taste. My wife’s fish, however, was very good. Overall, a nice setting with some food and service timing issues that could be improved.

The food is good, but it depends on your tastes. We had a party of 6 and overall we liked what was served up. I had the salmon and beans and it was really good. Now for the service, it was was spot on. Our server was great. He anticipated our every move and was waiting with our requests before we even knew we needed his service. We will dine here again.
This has to be my favorite Irish Pub in Ohio so far. The table service is excellent by any standard, exceptional for a pub. The fish and chips stands up to what I had in London, with better portions!
