The Vancouver clinic is in my network, but the Vancouver Clinic doctors in Oregon have a policy that they will not perform physicals for patients on the first visit, and so initial visits with primary care providers do not count as “preventive care.” Because they won’t provide preventive care, my deductible applies to the entire first visit and I received a notice the day before my appointment that my visit with Dr. Amee Thomas would cost me almost $600 out of pocket to receive LESS care than a physical. I cannot afford to pay $600 to talk to a doctor for a few minutes. Despite talking to multiple representatives, they refused to even try to work with me to avoid having to pay ridiculous amounts just to establish with a primary care provider. I suggest going somewhere with more reasonable less greedy doctors.
Heartbroken and disappointed. I have been a patient of Dr Le at Vancouver clinic for 9 years now. I had a large bill I was paying down. They have a policy to send your bill to collections after 120 days. After 9 years, I was not even given a heads up. Just sent directly to a collection agency. I did not repsond to those calls, because I have never been sent to collections and I could not fathom why a debt collector was calling, so then I was sent to small claims. All while I was still a patient. I had been in the office every three months for regular visit, and no one said a single thing to me about needing to collect or I would be sent to a debt collector. I will not stand for this kind of treatment and I am moving to a different medical office for a primary care.

Truly awful experience in this office. Recommend you avoid and find another office if you can. The doctor I saw - Dr. Amee Thomas - was terribly unqualified to deal with patient issues and the front desk on top of that incorrectly billed the appointment leading to a charge three times as high as they’d said it would be in advance of the appointment, which I am still sorting out. Just all around professional mismanagement and poor healthcare.
And by the way- WE JUST MET. It is not even your area of expertise to call me delusional in the first place. But if it were- We. Just. Met. Does a priest know enough to call me delusional when we just met? Could any specialist call me delusional after we just met? Not even a qualified behavioral specialist can call me delusional after we just met. BEHOLD. I speak regularly with one of those therapists I've known for 25 years. Have you consulted with him? Not interested. For one reason. Motive. For Dr. Gordon to be unable to pronounce the name of "an illness" (E D I T I T E D/Mad) on the first visit may be excusable, but not on the second, and not really at all. Like a musician sight reading music, a doctor should at least identify the prefix containing the word "cyst." Work it out in syllables. I provided information from reputable websites. I report extreme human suffering and agony... ...There is a level of intent proven by Dr. Gordon- she refused to read the guidelines. It is not helpful to condescend to me by bringing up irrelevant testing that "came up negative." EDITED DUE TO h u m i l i a t i o n... "Level of intent." Testing that "came up negative." "Stance." Copy "Stance." Again My brain won't do it. Indescribable horror to imagine leaving my only son near this type of culture. Serious morality problems.
Service has taken a dump since it became The Vancouver Clinic. Appointments are more difficult, my preferred PCP is no longer available, hold times are long, and policies more strict. Have been going here for over a decade and through my biggest life changes, but the frustration and hassle has reached a peak and I'm seeking care elsewhere. Would not recommend TVC.
