Dr. Lester Baskin has been an outstanding physician for me. What I appreciate most is the combination of responsiveness, thoughtfulness, and genuine care he brings to every interaction. During annual physicals, he takes the time to really listen, answer questions thoroughly, and think proactively about long-term health and prevention. He has also been incredibly helpful with quick referrals to specialists, coordinating things like dermatology appointments, travel vaccines, and preventative care such as colonoscopies. I never feel rushed, and I always feel like he is truly looking out for my health and well-being. In a healthcare world that often feels rushed and impersonal, Dr. Baskin stands out for being patient, accessible, and deeply invested in his patients. I’m very grateful to have him as my doctor and would highly recommend him.
One of the most unprofessional clinics in the state. Doctor Konicki took an hour and a half past our scheduled call time to have the decency to do her job and give me a call. The clinic did not call me to inform me about the delay, I had to call them twice before I received my SCHEDULED CALL. This supposed "professional" then took issue with my language and hung up on me. Athena, why did you become a doctor if this is how you treat people in need?

I’ve found my physician, Heather Baskin, to be an extremely talented and compassionate doctor. She has been my primary physician for over half a decade and has been wonderful. I’m invariably able to see her within a day or two of asking for an appointment. Dr. Baskin gives generously of her time and medical knowledge whenever I see her. She also promptly responds directly to emailed questions or requests that I send her. If a question comes up that she doesn’t have an immediate answer to, she’ll research it and get back to me quickly. I’ve been equally happy with the rest of the medical staff at the Baskin Clinic. They are always friendly, responsive and helpful.
MARCH 26, 2026, NEW REVIEW: I now am receiving good oversight from Dr. Reding and the great staff of the Baskin Clinic office in Tualatin commensurate with their significant fee. However, the owners of Baskin decided, a few months ago, to switch from Spruce to SigmaMD, a process that has been really troubling to many of us. First, Sigma was only offered on mobile phones. When many of us protested preferring online access as is common with MyChart, MyHealth and others, Sigma has incredibly-slowly begun to provide web access. Months later, only chat with our physicians is available online while test results, appointment making, etc., still are not set up on the web. And when I asked WHEN, the answer told the Baskin staff by Sigma is indefinite. So, paying a significant monthly fee for personalized and accessible contact to our health information, we patients are being shifted to online, non-human interaction through a program that has yet to actually provide it. My other frustration with the Portland area medical-information access is that various practices use varying portals and websites so that one cannot just find their info on a general site. My former location in the DC metro area provided a much-more coordinated and intergraded medical site. PAST REVIEW IN 2025: I moved from Virginia to Oregon about a year ago. In VA, I had an amazing primary-care practice at significantially-less than the cost of that of the Baskin Clinic. Nevertheless, I signed up with Baskin hoping that it would have the same attentiveness and oversight of my senior medical needs for preventive tests and follow-ups. Until I realized that I, as the patient, needed to take the initiative with Baskin, I finally received a very-concerned and engaged response from Dr. Reding of the Tualatin Baskin Clinic. I guess that the patient needs to be in charge in Oregon rather than expecting the amazing attentiveness of my former Virginia primary in spite of the steep charges of the Baskin Clinic.
I have been with the Baskin Clinic for less than a year. My primary doctor is Dr. Rebecca Neborsky. All of my experiences have been wonderful. I came from a group practice. The care is night and day. Being older, I tend to need to see a doctor more often than I did 20 years ago. My every medical need has been met. Dr Neborsky has seen me when needed, taken care of my needs, and given me great advice. My past experiences with my previous doctor was go to urgent care or the emergency room, we can't see you for two weeks. I recommend Dr. Neborsky and the Baskin Clinic wholeheartedly. Finally I'm being treated quickly and with care. I greatly appreciate the service. The staff is just as caring. YE
