This 3-in-1 museum is a must see, especially for young families! I recommend their OMNIMAX movies, which features a 72FT theater screen dome. Very immersive. A bit busy and parking is a small fee, but definitely could spend a whole weekend, if not more exploring the entire place! A few things you CANNOT miss is the replica old town, exploring the cave (yes there’s a small cave with tunnels) and the massive children’s place structure
Highly recommend the free rotunda tour offered on the weekends. Barbara is very knowledgeable and provides a lot of historical context and architecture. Seeing the original presidential office suite in all it's 1930's glory was pretty cool.
We loved this place so much. We went for Valentine's Day, but we will definitely be taking the kids. Kids of all ages would really enjoy it. The historical part was done really nicely. And the Cafe area is very spacious, clean and has quick service if you want a snack or would like to grab a quick lunch.

The Cincinnati Museum Center is an impressive and enriching destination that combines history, science, and culture in a way that feels both educational and genuinely enjoyable. Housed in the stunning Art Deco Union Terminal, the building itself sets the tone for the experience and makes the visit feel special from the moment you walk in. The exhibits are interactive and engaging, from natural history and science displays to hands-on learning spaces, making it a great place for visitors of all ages. Whether you’re exploring with friends, family, or on a school trip, the museum offers something for everyone and leaves you with a deeper appreciation for learning, discovery, and the city of Cincinnati.
This is one of the greatest museums in Ohio. It is housed in a grand train station, that still works as a stop for Amtrak. It has many rooms, including an underground cave, a Holocaust museum, and a huge to-scale exhibit of Cincinnati in the early 20th century. It also has a planetarium, several ice cream stores, and vending machines. The only catch is if you are there for Amtrak, as the station in the back is rather bleak and modernized.
