UPDATE: Britny from customer service reached out and was very helpful and offered to send out one of their best guys to re-clean the ducts. Frank came out and did a much more thorough job. He pulled out multiple large items with his bare hands that had been missed by the first cleaning. He then proceeded to re-clean all ducts. I included a few more before and after photos that show how much was missed on the first cleaning that Frank was able to fix. Original review: We used a Groupon for duct cleaning, and had to wait a month for our appointment, which was rescheduled the day before service was scheduled. We were able to be seen last minute, which we were (at the time) grateful for. When the technician arrived, he attempted to upsell us on a new air filter and a disinfecting spray. We declined and he got to work. Upon receiving our “after” photos, we could clearly see dirt, debris, and some larger items left in the vent (left by previous tenants), including an electrical faceplate, credit card, phone pop socket, and door stop. All items were easily removed by hand and shows some lines were not even attempted to be cleaned. We’re fortunate we only paid for a Groupon and not the full price, but even the little bit we spent on the Groupon was a waste of money.
I had a rental property needed deep cleaning and service a week before Christmas and I reside out of state. I called apex customer service let them know what is going on what my budget is they came out and helped with vent cleaning. Deep cleaning furnace dryer vent. So worth it . The mess was left by tenants and they removed everything
