David B and his team installed a new air handler and ducted inverter setup in my home to replace the worn out unit. The level of professionalism david and his team have is unmatched, the installation is flawless. Towels put down on the floor and perfectly cleaned up after they were finished. After he was finished, he checked everything to make certain it was perfect, then showed me everything I needed to know about the unit and how it operates. Also, the air coming from my vents is in the mid 40°f today when it was 88° outside and the electric bill has been cut into a third. This new style heat pump also works very comfortably when the air temp is well below 0°. Calling the shop and getting this install was a breeze, you can tell some people actually care about their customers and make sure not to sell you anything you don't need. Absolutely the best pricing in town. Thanks again Schibi!

I have been using this company for years for HVAC needs. A family run company which seems to care about its customers. I think there is not as much turnover as in big companies so you often deal with the same people. Salespeople are honest and knowledgeable. Will recommend what you need for your home. Service people are efficient and very knowledgeable as well. They will make sure all is installed correctly. The office staff very nice and helpful as well. Highly recommended!
BEWARE!!!! Shady dealings!! I contacted Schibi Heating & Cooling for service due to concerns that my air conditioning unit was not cooling properly. During the visit, I was charged for a leak detection service. After their evaluation, the technician informed me that my evaporator coil had a refrigerant leak and represented that this was the reason my system was not functioning correctly. I was also told that refrigerant had been added (“topped off”) during the visit. Additionally, at one point during the discussion, replacement of my entire HVAC unit was suggested. I sought a second opinion from another licensed HVAC company. The second company performed its own assessment and found that there was no evaporator coil leak!!! According to their evaluation, the issue appeared to be condensation rather than refrigerant leakage, and they determined that the coil itself was functioning properly. They serviced the system and added refrigerant, and immediately afterward the unit began cooling effectively and has continued operating normally ever since. I understand that HVAC diagnoses can vary between technicians; however, the significant difference between the two assessments and the immediate improvement after the second company’s service has told me everything i need to know about the integrity of this company and their techs!!
Called for a A/C “cleaning” which I think was supposed to cost $138. A/C was working fine. Original tech they sent was obviously out of his element. He identified a problem with getting the right voltage at the A/C unit but was unable to fix it. That took 3+ hours. They then sent out a lead technician the next day and $232 later, he was able to fix it. Both technicians were very nice and respectful! The issue to me was that if you are going to send someone to do a cleaning, and they run into problems they can’t handle, they should send out help immediately. Not everyone has the luxury of taking out 2 days to address what was supposed to be a simple cleaning. I did end up buying the cleaning package for A/C and furnace for $320 which covered the A/C cleaning, and a future furnace cleaning. I hope the furnace cleaning goes a little better. The original tech did do a good job replacing a PVC drain pipe on the furnace!
