Wrigley Square

The whole area around Cloud Gate is great to walk around and find some really unique sites. While we went last October the large pillars-turned-faces was a little unnerving at first but we thought it was playful with them spraying water after awhile. Cloud Gate is probably the most crowded in the area. The main bean is really reflective and seeing yourself as a distorted reflection was interesting, though I was hesitant to reach out and touch it seeing the many handprints on it.

Beautiful park,plenty of place to sit down and watch the world go by

This is a tree-lined public square located in the corner of Millennium Park in downtown Chicago. This monument is a full-size replica of the semicircle of paired Roman style columns. The square has a large lawn and a public fountain. The square hosts many outdoor cultural events and exhibitions. This monument is tribute to the individuals and corporate benefactors of the park. The names of the financial donors are inscribed on the pedestal who are official founders of Millennium Park. The name Wrigley Square comes from the founder Wm. Wrigley Jr. who is famous for Wrigley chewing gum. When we visited in the first week of May, the fountain was not working (May be it was not started for the season yet). This is nice place to hangout and relax which is just in the corner, if you don’t want to go deep into bigger park. It really felt good spending some time here in the park surrounded by skyscrapers.
