Very interesting, very small museum of modern art in the heart of Charlotte. It has 4 stories and we started from the top floor as recommended by the receptionist. The view from the balcony towards the city is worth visiting the place as well. I did enjoy the architecture of the place as much as the art displayed.
I enjoyed my experience. Nice afternoon spent viewing David McGee exhibit and listening to the music he paired with his art work. The educators price was great and I left with a couple gifts for my kids. 😀
Beautiful exhibit and enjoyed it all! I took in it all especially when my phone died. Highly recommend going either alone or with friends.

We came in on a wintry day, all other nearby museums were closed. The museum was small. The top floor is the largest space, the remaining floors are much smaller spaces. They offered a place to store our jackets and belongings and it only took about an hour to complete entire space. One staff worker came up to us several times during our browsing of the gallery, which was different than our usual gallery experience.
Going to Bechtlet Museum is one of the most beautiful, educational, experience I enjoy every time I attend. I enjoy the exhibits and what the artist says about them. Molly and staff are very professional, warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable about everything in the museum; which is so helpful in manufacturing through the exhibits. The events that occur are also so enjoyable. I also enjoy the fact that this program helps me mentally and the best of all I get to meet new people, and have meaningful conversations. I enjoy everything about Bechtler Museum and the connections I have made. Thank you so much elevating my knowledge of the arts and personal growth.
