I thought the bridge was constructed tough and, loved the light blue coloring. It was cool walking on one side from Ohio to Kentucky and then back again on the opposite side. Great views.

Iconic bridge, a feat of engineering, that hums as you drive along its open metal grate floor. Lovely achievement of Mr. and Mrs Roebling, paving the way for more suspension bridges in the US. You can walk along both sides, separate from the vehicle traffic. Popular with tourists, joggers, and folks going from NKY into Cincy on Bengals and Reds game days. You can walked below it on both riversides, and make a nice loop. If you're in the Queen City, this is a must see. During the Blink festival (Oct 2026), this bridge really comes to life with lights and pedestrians, and it may sometimes be closed to vehicular traffic on such days.
Great attraction to visit when staying in Covington Kentucky or in Ohio. The sights are stunning. And the ability to see various bridges from one place is worth it. A suspension bridge similar to the Brooklyn bridge but much smaller.
The John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge is one of my favorite spots in Cincinnati. Whether you’re walking across it or just stopping for a few pictures, the views of the skyline and the Ohio River are incredible. It’s amazing to stand on a piece of history that still feels just as impressive today. Definitely worth checking out if you’re visiting the area or just looking for a great place for a walk.
