My husband and I had a fantastic stay at the Marriott Marquis Houston. The entire hotel is spotless—every space feels fresh, clean, and well maintained. We loved how many dining options there were on-site; it made it easy to enjoy great food without having to leave the property. Our room was absolutely lovely: comfortable, modern, and perfect for relaxing after a long day. The service throughout our stay was excellent as well. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our visit enjoyable. One of the highlights for us was the huge rooftop pool area. The pool itself is impressive, and the hot tub and outdoor reclining spaces made it feel like a true getaway right in the middle of the city. It’s the kind of rooftop setup that makes you want to spend the whole afternoon unwinding. We’d happily stay here again. It was the perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and great service.
Stayed here for a weekend staycation. The room was clean and quiet. The pool area was great. The jacuzzi was relaxing, and the pool is heated to a comfortable temperature. They also have a fire pit with comfortable seating. Service was friendly and requests were quickly addressed. There are plenty of restaurants close by the vicinity. Just be aware that you have to pay for parking and internet if you’re not a Marriot member. Parking is $70 for valet, $50 for garage parking across the street, and WiFi is $14 per day.

Dear Management Team, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service and hospitality I received during my stay at the Marriott Marquis Houston during my work conference. I was there for a total of 10 days at the beginning of February. From the moment I arrived, the experience was welcoming and professional. I especially want to recognize Michelle, who was truly exceptional. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect and made my stay both comfortable and memorable. Her professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail clearly reflect the high standards of your hotel. Even when I locked myself out of my room, Michelle was there to greet me with a smiling face, ensuring me that its no big deal. Michelle is truly a great asset to your company, and her dedication does not go unnoticed. Please extend my gratitude to her for making my visit such a positive experience. Sincerely, Kevin Cook
The hotel is beautiful, very clean and the service was great, the check in staff is so nice and helpful. I loved the concert under the stars, the band played Abba tribute, so fun and classy., A very nice dressed Santa came and talked to my girls, lovely experience. But there was a couple of things that bothered me about the hotel: -Lazy River and pool: the water was cold, don't expect a warm river. I do think they warm it up a little bit but not even close to a comfortable temperature. I don't recommend during the winter months. The river was pretty empty because of that, maybe 10 people in, the hot tub was packed. It definitely takes some courage to get in the river. -The room noise level. The room main door had about a 1 inch gap at the bottom (at least my room), you could hear everything and everyone on the hall. People kept waking us up. And even we were in the 16th floor, the traffic noises still woke us up too multiple times. I need a quiet room to sleep.
Decided on a staycation for New Years Eve with the Family. Room was ready and spotless when when we checked in. Pool area is well maintained and the kids loved it. Pool is heated and enjoyable even on a 55° day. Plenty of options to eat on the property and within walking distance. Vale was on point during my stay. Well definitely be returning for the summer time. All in all great stay, beautiful hotel with awesome hospitality
