This place is amazing. My kids love to be here. On hot days we just go and hang out and have a day of fun. Their food is not too expensive and they even have dollar bottles of water. Overall a really nice place to take the kids and experience a days worth of fun. They have alot of different things for the kids to explore including a mini zoo.
My family has gone to Boonshoft around 1-2 times a year for the last 7 years or so. I’m always impressed with the newest improvements and enhancements! They have done a nice job of adding new things to do and see over the years. The Bieser Room of Wonder, which opened almost 4 years ago, truly feels like stepping into an “I Spy” book. The planetarium, the science shows, and the hands-on “experiments” are big highlights. I definitely recommend checking out the daily schedule and taking advantage of the programming. We also love watching the otters cuddle and play. As an aside, the prices in the cafe are very reasonable. There are lots of discounts available on tickets, especially if you have zoo membership at another site! Check it out on their website before your visit!

Came for my daughter’s 4th birthday. We had a great time. Fun for the whole family. So much information to take in. I didn’t get to see any animal talks they were in the afternoon, we came in the morning.
Took my 4 year old grandson during the week and he loved every second of it. While we went when a couple of field trips were taking place, we didnt feel overwhelmed and had the best time. We love the interactive spots to build, pretend, and explore. We will continue to come here.
Adorable museums, wasn't too busy on a Tuesday. Interesting for all ages. Hands on for kids and plenty of information to read. The zoo area was awesome. There was a lot to look at, you we spent at least two hours and didn't read/look at everything.
