We enjoyed our family vacation at the National Whitewater Center. We were introduced to the center on an episode of Top Chef and we couldn't wait to visit. Wear comfortable athletic shoes and drink lots of water. The rapids were our most fun activity followed by the Figure Eight as a close second. Both require a reservation and there is an extra $11 fee per person. There is also a $13 parking fee.
Took a company excursion here and did not disappoint. We enjoyed rafting and the food and beverages were on point. It would be nice if you could do one 20 minute orientation for all things. Because we spent more time in orientation and lines. Then, actual activities. But it was still a good time. It seemed like the live music and nightlife scene with the brewery.Would have been great to stay for but we had too long of a drive ahead of us to stay. Next time

Additional to all the fun splashing, they also have food and a full menu of local craft beer. It's free after the 6 bucks parking fee if you just want to hang out. A little pricey at $79 if you want to play, but you do get your money's worth.
I went with a group of friends/coworkers - It was a bit pricey and there were additional charges for certain activities, which I can understand. We all had such a wonderful time! Our guide was extremely nice and chill. He even allowed us extra time on the raft. The food was decent after a day of fun! I would and will definitely go back!
I went as a chaperone on a field study. We didn’t get to do all the activities but the kiddos and I had fun. I definitely plan to go back with my daughter. I didn’t see much for my toddlers to do but all the activities work for those who love the outdoors and some adventure. The place was clean and staff seemed polite.
