Johnny and his team are the best mechanics I've been to. They worked really hard with me to find a replacement engine that was low mileage and cheap for my prius, and it's been driving great for a year since now. Johnny was super communicative and the prices always seemed beyond fair. Really recommend this place to anyone in the area!

I called on a Thursday afternoon, and he was able to fit me in the very next morning. I dropped my car off at 9:00 AM, and by 2:00 PM, Johnny called with a full diagnosis: a failed alternator and a dead battery. He took the time to explain the "how and why" behind the repairs and walked me through every line item on the invoice. It was clear that his priority was ensuring I understood the work and felt confident in their transparency. The standout moment, however, was how Johnny handled my battery situation. Since the battery was less than six months old, it shouldn't have failed yet. I had purchased it at AutoZone, and Johnny explained how I could get a free warranty replacement. Being new to the area and without a second car, I was stressed about how to lug a dead battery to AutoZone and back via multiple Ubers. To my total shock, Johnny kindly offered to handle the exchange for me to save me the stress and the extra cost. I picked up my car the following day, and it’s running perfectly. Johnny clearly takes immense pride in his business and genuine care for his customers. Because of this incredible level of service and trust, L and T is now my permanent shop in Chicago. I recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone who wants their vehicle handled with expertise and integrity.
