Our air conditioner broke right before one of the recent heat waves, and Jacobs Heating and Air Conditioning came through when we really needed them. I called and within a day they were out to give us a temporary fix so we could stay cool, then scheduled a full replacement for a few weeks later. Our old unit was about twelve years old and on its last legs, so getting that Band-Aid during the heat wave was a huge relief. They ended up replacing the system while we were out of town, and they treated our house like it was their own. When they left, everything was so clean you'd never have known they were there. Nothing was left out, nothing was disturbed, other than the shiny new air conditioning unit. We came back to a cool, comfortable home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jacobs Heating and Air Conditioning to anyone.
Our A/C stopped working just before this mini heatwave. Bryan D came and got it up and running in no time. He described the issue and the fix. He's serviced our heater/AC most every season since we bought the house and has always provided excellent service. He also gave helpful tips on usage and maintenance as well as key things to look out for. We're happy with the results and will continue to use Jacobs for our HVAC needs.

What a great company we went with. Mark S. Was our first contact after realizing that our 40 year old furnace needed to be replaced. He totally understood what we wanted and put together a package that was affordable. Brandon and Diego were the installers assigned you our house. They were very professional and got the job done with ease. They had their work cut out for them with an expanded vent going into our second story crawl space and moving the air conditioner on the other side of the house. I would highly recommended this company and these two installers. Here are some pictures from the process.
BRYAN came out early on a March morning that I noted my furnace was not functioning. He very quickly discovered the batteries for my thermostat needed replacement. Lesson learned after having had a hardwired thermostat! He told me about the history of Jacobs, which I chose due to a service sticker on the air exchanger but knew nothing more about. I was very impressed, and when offered I signed up for a yearly maintenance program. Thank you, Bryan, it was so nice to meet you.
We bought a house with a Jacobs furnace that had been installed about 8 years ago. It broke a few weeks ago and I called Jacobs, who sent a tech out and diagnosed a broken heat exchanger and inducer motor. While parts were covered by warranty, they sent a quote for $2k in labor. I called to ask the estimator for an itemized estimate that included how many hours the repair would take. In response, I received an updated estimate for $3,400, saying the first estimate was a mistake. I again called the estimator and left another voicemail, and received no response. I called the main number, and was told that they do not itemize labor costs, and instead use flat rates. So, even if you have a warranty for parts, they will send you an estimate for labor only without any justification for the cost. Since $3k+ is a lot to repair an 8 year old furnace, I asked Jacobs to quote a new furnace. They said a salesperson would call, but nobody ever did. Of course, this back and forth with them is happening over several days when we do not have heat. I eventually decided to buy a new furnace with another company, Pyramid HVAC, who were excellent to work with, answered the phone, responded to messages, etc. Would highly recommend going elsewhere, as Jacobs does not seem to have the staffing needed to meet the demand for their services. I also learned that the furnace initially installed by Jacobs was oversized for the house, which likely led to it cycling on and off excessively and contributing to its premature failure.
