Really disappointed with the hotel. We would NOT stay here again. For the money there are many better options. Convenient location with a lovely view of a man made lake and a nice saltwater pool...but that's where it stops. The facility is very dated and desperately needs an upgrade. Our king room was decent with a nice view but hallways and stairwells were quite grimey. The room lighting was horrible and there was not one USB plug in...The TV remote had a hard time working. Waited 10 minutes to order (bad) coffee in the restaurant....and the eggs Benedict had stale tasting ham in it. The front desk staff were very nice and doing their very best with an inadequate facility.
This hotel is not worth the price. If it was a regular hotel at a price matching other Ramada's or Best Westerns I would say fine. But this hotel was expensive and I upgraded my room. Not sure what the upgrade was. Balcony door only locked with a burglar bar. Balcony had no real privacy. The furniture all had dings and scuffs. The reading light didn't work. Staff seemed to want to interact as little as possible. Cleaning staff looked away when we walked by and front desk staff was efficient to a fault of feeling like they just wanted me to go away. They had an event (wedding maybe) going on that we could hear in our room with everything closed and the AC fan on. Hotel also has the same problem a lot of PHX hotels have in that they are short and sprawling and our room was a good walk for my wife who has mobility issues. The pool was nice, but not as warm as you would hope. The lake and golf course seemed nice, but I think you can go to other parts of the lake for free. None of it would have been bad at a regular hotel, but this was supposed to be a resort get away treat for my wife and it was just a way, way over priced hotel stay. This hotel is also near nothing. No gas stations, convience stores, or stores to get forgotten items within 5 minutes drive, let alone walking.

I am writing to address a very concerning situation. I have stayed at your property in the past and previously had positive experiences, which makes this matter particularly disappointing. A charge was recently made to my card in connection with your hotel that I did not authorize. I have attempted to contact your team multiple times to resolve this issue but have not yet received a response. In addition to the unauthorized charge, there was also an unusual and concerning situation that occurred during my stay in the room that I would like to discuss directly with management. I am requesting that someone from your management team contact me as soon as possible so we can review this matter and process a refund if the charge was made in error. I would greatly prefer to resolve this issue directly and amicably. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
The location is ideal and there are beautiful views right at the hotel. The rooms definitely had a lot of wear and tear, older furniture, sliding barn doors for bathroom, older carpeting. The hotel staff was responsive and always helpful, and Terry in the restaurant/ bar is one of the kindest people I've ever met! He completely made my stay and dining such a pleasant experience!
Great little stop. Situated on the lake, it has a special charm. Decent amenities, but we appreciated how peaceful it was the most. As it should, our stay was made better by the helpful staff. Genesis, Paloma, Bella, and Jules among others were friendly and helpful! Thanks for a great experience!
