We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Northwest by IHG and had a great experience. The daily free breakfast was the highlight — plenty of options and a solid way to start the day. The rooms were spacious, clean, and affordable, which made the stay even better. The pool and hot tub were a nice bonus, and we loved that they stayed open until 11pm — perfect for unwinding at the end of the night. The workout room was pretty average, but honestly had everything we needed to get a solid workout in. Overall, it checked all the boxes. We’d definitely stay here again.
Overall, the stay was decent for our quick 1 night stop on our long trip to somewhere else. The staff was decent, not overly nice (which is fine with us) and the room was generally clean. It was a bit noisy from outside traffic and such, but that's to be expected for the area. The longer term maintenance is lacking in some areas though. The shower caulking/grouting at the bottom was cracked and leaking. The AC filters were extremely neglected (see pic), and that is a big thing for me (not everyone cares tho). I expected better, based on the price we paid. I will add that the breakfast was awesome and the lady running it is on top of everything! She was a delight and kept things clean and stocked.

I had an overnight stay here last year. I stayed for 4 days this trip. I'm seriously considering making this my go to hotel when I do travel to Indy. The front desk staff is very friendly. No matter which one I encountered they were smiling and greeted me warmly. My room was huge. It wasn't a suite exactly but it had a bedroom area and sitting area. Both area had a tv with a remote. I made a nest in the bed it was so comfortable. I didn't go out on Monday to my scheduled museum because the bed wouldn't let me get up in time. It was the best sleep I've gotten in awhile. Everything was clean. They have posted quiet hours. The breakfast was delicious every morning I ate. There is a great eating spot called the Empire Street Bar and Grill up the alley from the hotel. They deliver to your hotel room. If you go get the Sliders, Nachos, and Skins. My hometown is two hours up the road. I'm feeling homesick for a town I don't even live in because of them. Everything I wanted to see was close. I highly recommend this hotel for the closeness to museums, the zoo, and the wonderful murals and monuments. It's across the street from the Lucas Oil Stadium if you want to go to the games.
Across the street from the stadium, around the corner from the convention center, included breakfast, strong WiFi, walking distance from good restaurants, easy parking, friendly staff. There is no restaurant/bar, but they do have a small selection of highly overpriced prepackaged foods and drinks, even some ice cream and frozen foods that you can heat up in your microwave. Fun fact, the breakfast includes a make-your-own pancake machine, and delicious Cinnabon cinnamon buns (small size without icing, but still delicious) Room was clean & spacious, quiet, and the bathroom was also clean and modern.
If you want to actually use the pool and hot tub do not book this hotel. The chemicals were so strong we couldn't be in the pool room longer then 5 minutes without burning eyes and lungs. Miserable If you just want a spacious clean hotel that hasa convenient location this was a great choice
