Ari is by far the best waitress I've ever had at an established. Honestly, probably one of my most favorite humans alive. The food was amazing and everything was perfect. It's pricey, but totally worth the experience.
Ray’s in the City – Atlanta 🦪🍷🎷 Ray’s in the City offers an upscale dining experience centered around exceptional seafood, prime cuts, and an impressive wine list, all elevated by weekly live jazz that sets the mood perfectly. The food and service were superb from start to finish. We began with oysters, which were fresh, flavorful, and full of depth—an excellent way to start the meal. The blackened lobster was well-executed and delicious, though slightly overdone for my personal preference. One true standout was the crab soup—rich, comforting, and absolutely outstanding. The cocktails were absolutely delicious, thoughtfully crafted, and paired beautifully with the meal. Dessert was enjoyable overall, though it could have been slightly more refined in terms of balance and flavor to truly match the level of the rest of the experience. Overall: a fantastic dining experience with top-tier service, memorable seafood, great drinks, and an elegant atmosphere—perfect for a special night out in Atlanta.

The staff was very welcoming and professional. They knew my name from the reservation and were always attentive. The grouper and scallops were wonderful along with the brussel sprouts. The bread ordered was a bit too burnt on the top. The desert was again phenomenal. You will not go wrong stepping into Rays in the heart of Atlanta. They also have a great selection of wines, steaks, and other desserts. Enjoy.
The Best Meal and Service that I had in my visit to Atlanta Georgia. The hostess was very kind, the waiter Alex very professional, and the food was delicious. My favorite dish was the Calamari appetizer. The salmon was also cooked perfectly. I will definitely Come here the next time I am in Atlanta.
My boyfriend and I had an absolutely amazing dinner at Ray’s in the City. From start to finish, everything we ordered was outstanding. I had the salmon with whipped potatoes, crab, and asparagus, and it was perfection. The salmon was buttery and crispy on the outside and soft and melt-in-your-mouth on the inside. It was truly one of the best I’ve ever had. The whipped potatoes were silky and delicious. The crab added the perfect touch. The asparagus tasted incredible. For appetizers, we ordered the oysters, and they were fresh and full of flavor. I also had the passion fruit martini, and it tasted delicious and balanced. For dessert, I got the lemon butter cake with ice cream and fruit compote, and WOW, that was a cloud-nine moment. I am a total dessert person and an ice cream person, and this dessert still blew me away. My boyfriend does not like sweets very much, and he tried it and thought it tasted amazing. That speaks volumes. He ordered the ribeye, which was juicy and cooked perfectly. He also enjoyed an old-fashioned, an Irish coffee, and a glass of wine. He loved all of them. Our waitress Ari made the experience even better. She was friendly, attentive, and professional. She offered great recommendations and checked on us at the right times. She made the entire evening feel smooth and enjoyable. She is a gem! If you are thinking about dining here, do it. Ray’s in the City exceeded all of our expectations, and we cannot wait to go back.
