This is a fantastic overlook. There was nobody up there when I was there in the middle of the day. I had never even heard of it before. It is a very large place. Even has a portage on up there. You did a fantastic view of the city. A dynamite spot to see the Three Rivers join. Great view of the point. Also a great view of the West end bridge and the Steelers football stadium. Definitely go out of the way and make this easy trip to the top of the hill. He will not regret it.
This place has an amazing view of the city but comes with some sharp limitations. Parking is extremely limited so getting there on the 4th of July was insane. Had to get there 5 hours early minimum. Restrooms are for paying events only and the other option is ONE porta John which literally 1000 people used that day.

I've been here a couple of times for weddings or other events, that's a really beautiful place and some really fire events!
A hidden gem, never crowded, always chill. Lesser known than Grandview on Mt Washington, but my preferred view of downtown Pittsburgh and the rivers.
Great place to view the city. You can get alot of decent pictures at this spot.
