⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an outstanding experience with Reagan Ridley from Hiller! From the moment he arrived, he was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in finding the best solution—not the most expensive one. Reagan took the time to troubleshoot my HVAC unit with me instead of immediately recommending unnecessary repairs or replacements. He carefully explained what he was checking, answered all of my questions, and worked diligently to identify the root cause of the issue. I especially appreciated that he was mindful of keeping the repair as minimal and cost-effective as possible while ensuring the system was operating properly. One of the unexpected highlights of the visit was simply getting to talk with Reagan while he worked. As a Nashville native, which is almost like spotting a unicorn these days, we had a great conversation about the city, how much it has changed over the years, and our shared appreciation for the community. It made the entire service call feel more personal and enjoyable. It's refreshing to work with a technician who values honesty, integrity, and customer service as much as technical expertise. Reagan made me feel like he was looking out for my best interests, and that level of professionalism is becoming increasingly rare. I highly recommend Reagan Ridley to anyone needing HVAC service. Hiller is fortunate to have someone of his caliber representing the company. We have an older home, so we need experienced contractors. We have taken a chance on lower cost big box retail contractors and Thumbtack, but paid the price later in shoddy work or extensive cleanup. We have had multiple services (mostly HVAC and Plumbing) with Hiller since around 2013. I can say every person I've met is respectful of our property and knowledgeable about their trade. No one is ever pushy or tries to sell something we don't need. Steve is one of our favorite plumbers, as he finds and fixes the problem quickly and always seems to be upbeat. We had a water heater bust a few years ago, and he not only fixed it, but also educated my boys while installing. Some contractors don't like you watching them work, but he seemed to have fun with it. That let me know he is confident in his trade and people skills. We recently needed a toilet replacement, and we requested Steve again. He gave me several options that fit our budget. Although we decided to purchase our own toilet this time due to disability needs (higher height toilet), he and his partner Luis installed it very quickly and respected our property. We are thankful for Hiller hiring reliable and respectful contractors!
Lance did the best home service; we’ve lived in this home since it was new (1998). Lance was on time, explained everything he was doing, and did an exceptional job down to the smallest detail. New gas water heater works great and looks great too!
When the AC unit went out for the third time in a year, I knew I needed to get a replacement before the summer heat. I was trying to work through a home warranty but was having so much trouble. I asked Hiller to come out and give me a quote and was sent David. He was friendly, informative, thorough, and there to support me through the decision. He stayed in contact with me all week, offering to call the home warranty on my behalf if needed. By the end of the week I had given up on AHS and went ahead and scheduled the replacement with Hiller. Josue and his colleagues came out and spent all Saturday completing the work. I was so pleased with how things turned out. Because of how the old unit was installed, they did have to cut out more of the wall than they had planned, and just covered it with sheet metal (per our contract). After a couple days, David called again and said he wasn’t happy with the way the wall was finished, and offered to send a contractor to do a drywall patch on Hiller’s dime - I just had to provide paint. The contractor (construction by Cunningham) just finished the work today and I couldn’t be happier! So thankful I chose to work with Hiller, and for the good faith David showed throughout our replacement.
The service tech, Andrew, was extremely professional, courteous and friendly. He respected my property, showed me the problem, outlined the options to resolve and provided helpful recommendations. Arranging service and reminders and updates were perfection. Highly recommend Hiller based on this interaction!
