Was here for a staycation and the room was absolutely amazing. Clean and spacious. Service was fairly quick as well. Happy hour with snacks and complimentary drinks a a huge plus. They even had a coffee machine and drink machine downstairs, another plus. A lot of secure parking and hotel is in a good location but not crowded and easy to enter/exit. The only drawback was that I was kind of close to the elevator and there was a lot of clunking noise coming from it.
First time staying.! It was great!! The only complaint would be highway noise. But we did share connecting rooms and didn’t hear anything at all. Breakfast was great! The 5:30 kick back amazing. Enough to feed you for dinner. Also have a bar/restaurant food is good there too! It’s open till 11pm. Also the pool is on the 6th floor. There is a parking garage as well very convenient and keeps everything safe.! Very clean hotel! I’m that person who checks everything! Not a speck of dust or anything left behind!

I've stayed in this area many times over the past 10 years, having two kids at UTD. I've stayed in many of the area hotels. The older high-rise hotels show their ages, and the newer 5-6 story hotels are already physically falling apart (I actually remember when some were being built!); they're like temporary structures. This Drury is a completely different story. Everything *works*: elevators, parking facility, room plumbing, HVAC, the doors are properly hung, and there's very effective double-glazing on the windows to block highway noise. The breakfast service is very good quality and it starts early. The evening gratis food service looked extremely generous; you could definitely feed kids. Overall a great value for the money. (In particular, no parking fee.) One good yet problematic thing is that the hotel is close to a bunch of restaurants, a Whole Foods, rail transit, etc, all within walking distance, a rare treat in DFW. However, the vacant lot next door is completely devoid of civilized facilities like a sidewalk, so walking from the hotel involves a slightly scary road or else walking in the mud. And the mud in Dallas is terrifying. Not their fault of course, but it really is not a good thing.
This hotel made our final trip together with my daughters truly unforgettable. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. They fulfilled every request I made in advance, and when they found out it was my daughter’s birthday, they celebrated with us and even wrote her a heartfelt handwritten note. It was such a touching gesture that we will never forget. I have stayed at many hotels over the years, but this was by far the friendliest, cleanest, and most welcoming hotel I have ever experienced. The level of hospitality was exceptional. I would especially like to thank Michael at the front desk, along with the entire staff, for their kindness and outstanding service. They made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!
Absolutely Love this place. Check in was a little confusion. But nethertheless the hotel was great. Popcorn in the lobby. Rooms was great and spacious. This was first time staying with my kids and it very child friendly. This hotel has became the only place I want to stay with my kids. Breakfast was great the attendants were very friendly and helpful. I can't brag enough!!
