First im 30 weeks pregnant amd they tell me im high risk but won't tell me what from and then keep me in dark from everything after me repeating asking them questions no answer so I wouldn't be coming back here ever they use my deaf disability against me it really shady here and that sad for this place for being children place for sure need shut this place down
My primary care physician's is at this clinic and has been since 1987. I have had 2 doctors during that time. 1st I had Dr.Ibonu Ikezuagu (Dr. Ike) until 2019 then Dr. Deepti Avasthi became my primary care physician and still is to this day. I never understand people who change doctors like they change their shoes. I have never had any problems with any of my doctors or the staff. They are kind and always listen to their patients. Quality professional treatment is what you will get at Mercy Health St. Vincent Outpatient Clinic at 2213 Franklin Avenue.

Horrible experience!!!! I called and specified that I wanted to get services from wic to receive a breast pump. After making it very clear I was ONLY getting on wic to obtain a breast pump, I STILL was not notified that I would not receive one in office. Nor was I notified until I got to the appointment that they will go through my insurance to get the pump (I am capable of doing this myself and do not need a program to help with that if that was the route I decided to take). Complete waste of time and effort. To make matters much worse, I received multiple calls from a number at the health department. No voicemail left. When I would answer, the call disconnected on their end. Was calling back for DAYS panicking thinking it was the contact tracer reaching out after receiving an email about a positive case at my child’s school. Finally was able to actually talk to who was calling... and it was WIC! During a pandemic, calling from a health department number, leaving no message. Completely insensitive with a huge disregard to the current situation! I am beyond upset and I will be removing myself from program to deter any further stress and panic. A program I once found helpful is now a program I will NEVER recommend to anyone. It’s not worth the stress. What they stand for is great, but this experience has definitely outweighed the good. Enough stress and anxiety is going on during a pandemic. I guess if you are low income your sanity is up for grabs. Very relieved it was NOT a contact tracer, but furious all of the panic was unnecessary.
I only been going here for a short time. It's okay. Not the best but not the worst. The best doctor there so far is Dr. Kanchan Pillai. She's amazing. She is kind, and sweet. She actually listens to you and what you have to say. I wish I can say the same about all the doctors here. Some doctors here don't even listen to what you say. It's sad.
I use to go there when i was born till I was 18. Now all my children go. Gretchen Utterback is an amazing doctor. She listens to all concernes and addresses them appropriately.
