Second time here and still incredible! Rooms are perfect for me. No fridge or TV in the cheapest room, but who cares. Im not staying in portland to watch TV. They have regular shows downstairs with a great soaking pool. Location js terrific as you are a moments walk or rented bike ride away from great entertainment and food. Highly recommend.
We had just 1 night in Portland before a van trip. We found Crystal hotel by searching for something different than a Hilton or similar. It’s exactly what we were expecting, each room has its own unique identity. The swimming pool is very convenient and cool. Funny story you can go to the pool and then have a beer in the bar while still wearing a bath dress. Lovely hotel, definitely worth it.
The location is super convenient. The service was great. The room I booked (cheapest option) didn't have a bathroom in it, but there was a shared bathroom on the same floor. There was a sink and towels in my room though. The soaking pool downstairs was amazing! The bartender, Thomas, at Hal's made me a fantastic cocktail. The decor and vibes... immaculate. I highly recommend the McMenamins Crystal Hotel in downtown Portland!

Absolutely would stay here again! Staff great! Rooms great! And yes there are rooms with your own bathroom you just have to look when you book. Good and drinks amazing! Totally felt safe walking Portland is doing an amazing job cleaning up the area. Would recommend to anyone.
We will definitely stay here again but be warned, there are communal bathrooms but they’re incredible clean and spacious! The soaking pool is amazing and incredibly relaxing. The staff were also incredibly accommodating and helpful, even allowing us to check in a bit early! The room is small but cute, with everything you need inside. Would definitely recommend for couples or single travelers!
