Mixed review. Front desk staff were efficient and friendly. Copper Fox provided outstanding breakfast food. The location is great and convenient to restaurants and shopping. Unfortunately, the facilities are not up to Marriott standards. Basic rooms, small, not particularly clean. There were no complimentary waters and the staff did not clean during the stay. It was exceedingly noisy all night from the city but from numerous undetermined sounds--perhaps elevators and construction nearby. Will not stay here again with so many options in the city.
Great location and they offered a good discount when I was booking. Room is exactly as they appear on google. Best price for a hotel in this location as far as I can find. Also not too far from the red line and other public transportation, though it was a little cold in the winter. Not a lot of in room amenities (no water, hair dryer, kettle, bar). Simple and offers a fridge and shower products. Would totally return for the price I paid.

Our visit to Chicago's Courtyard by Marriott has been very nice. I loved how close it is to the Magnificent Mile. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable. I really liked hanging in the lobby. Overall it was a great stay

My room was impeccably clean, quiet, and well-appointed, offering a perfect space to unwind after long days of panels and networking. The conference facilities were also top-notch — spacious, modern, and equipped with everything needed to support a professional event of this scale. What stood out most was the staff’s professionalism and genuine hospitality. Everyone I interacted with — from the front desk to the restaurant team — made me feel welcome and respected. It’s clear that this location values both excellence and inclusivity, which makes a meaningful difference when hosting diverse professional groups like ours. Overall, I would highly recommend the Marriott Downtown to any legal professionals or organizations planning a convention or corporate event. It’s an ideal blend of sophistication, comfort, and outstanding service.
James the front desk person on 11/22/25 was very nice and accommodating, everyone was nice. Great location. The room is okay, amenities - bring your own☺️ ( they only provide shampoo, conditioner, bodywash) for the cost of one night, was expecting some atleast 2 bottles of water, coffee, toothpaste, toothbrush and lotion. Maybe the cleaner just forgot to leave some! The front people made up the missing piece tho☺️
