We had a lovely time at the Henry Hotel. As a historic property, it has a lot of charm and character that made our stay memorable. While we did experience a few issues during our visit, the hotel manager, Eric, was incredibly prompt in addressing them. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was resolved quickly and even checked on us multiple times throughout our stay to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied. We were also excited to learn about the extensive renovations planned for the hotel. The renderings look absolutely beautiful, and we can’t wait to see the finished result. We will definitely be back to experience the updated property while enjoying the history and character that make the Henry Hotel so special.
We stayed here for a large event and had a great experience. The service was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and comfortable, and the hotel had a lot of great amenities including a large parking lot, pool, gym, and a small business area with computers available for guests to use. One thing that stood out was all the artwork throughout the hotel. It gave the place a unique feel and made it more interesting than a typical hotel. The location was also convenient. It was a short drive to Windsor, Canada, where we went to enjoy the beautiful views of the Detroit River from the Canadian side. It was also a quick drive to the casino. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with a great location.

I recently stayed at The Henry Autograph Collection while traveling with my dog. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a stylish atmosphere and a gorgeous, lively lobby. Check-in was quick and easy, and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. I also appreciated the security measures, including key card access to the hotel after 10 PM and to the guest floors. One of the biggest positives was how convenient the property was for traveling with a dog. There were plenty of grassy areas for walks, waste stations with garbage cans nearby, and easy access to the parking lot. The self-parking was convenient and located right beside the hotel, making it easy to get my dog in and out throughout the stay. I booked a Portrait King Guest Room, which was comfortable and well-equipped with amenities such as a mini fridge, safe, desk, luggage bench, iron and ironing board, USB charging ports, and adjustable climate control. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was quiet, allowing for a great night's sleep. The standout feature of my stay was the room service. The food was genuinely excellent. I ordered the burger, Caesar salad, and garlic parmesan fries, and every item was delicious. The garlic parmesan fries in particular were phenomenal and easily the highlight of the meal. It's some of the best hotel room service food I've had in quite some time. Unfortunately, there were several issues that prevented this from being a higher-rated stay. Housekeeping attention to detail was lacking. There was hair on the shower wall, noticeable residue on the bathroom mirror, and the overall cleanliness of the room was not what I expect from a property in this category. In addition, both the TV and mini fridge were unplugged when I arrived. I had to move furniture to access the outlets and get them working, which was frustrating after a long day of travel. I was also granted a late checkout until noon, but a staff member knocked on my door around 11:05 AM while I was still showering and getting ready. The interruption was uncomfortable and made me feel rushed despite having confirmed late checkout. Overall, there were definitely things I enjoyed about this hotel, especially the room service, pet-friendly setup, convenient parking, and comfortable bed. However, the cleanliness issues and late-checkout interruption left me disappointed. If I were traveling with a dog again, I would consider staying here because of how convenient the property is for pet owners. Otherwise, I would likely explore other options in the area.
Eric Bernardara Saves the Day! Our recent stay at The Henry came with a few unexpected challenges. After a quick conversation with Eric Bernardara, everything changed. He has a remarkable ability to listen, make you feel genuinely heard, and resolve concerns with professionalism and sincerity. The true measure of a great hotel isn't how things go when everything is perfect—it's how the team responds when challenges arise. Eric exemplifies exceptional hospitality, and his commitment to guest satisfaction turned what could have been a disappointing experience into a memorable one. A job exceptionally well done! We look forward to our next stay, and The Henry will continue to be our regular stop whenever we're driving from Virginia to our cottage up north.
A Memorable Stay for a Wedding Weekend I recently stayed at The Henry Autographs Hotel while attending a wedding in the area, and the experience was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome—warm, professional, and genuinely helpful. The hotel itself is a class act, blending comfort with a fascinating nod to American innovation. I loved the vintage automotive and aviation touches throughout the lobby and hallways. My room was spacious, spotless, and incredibly quiet—exactly what I needed after a late night of celebrating. The bed was luxurious, the bathroom was well-appointed with premium toiletries, and thoughtful extras like a Keurig and bedside USB ports made everything easy. The wedding events were beautifully coordinated, and it was such a convenience to have everything—ceremony, reception, and overnight accommodations—so seamless. The on-site dining and lounge were perfect for gathering with other guests in between celebrations. If you're attending a wedding or any special event in Dearborn, I highly recommend The Henry Autographs. It’s elegant, comfortable, and full of character. A truly classy experience from start to finish.
