I called Fords to fix a leaking shower head. I suspected it to be an old shower cartridge filter, but could not open it far enough to see the part number (see photo). They sent out a plumber who quoted me the cost to inspect and order a new part + installation fee. He advised me that I could replace myself, and explained which tools to use to open and remove the old cartridge. I really appreciate the professionalism and full explanation of the work needed, also providing options to do myself vs their service and the price difference.

Luis and Milton were great. Showed up exactly on time, very polite, worked through a couple of issues on a shower. I would definitely recommend them.

Although I’m the last person to ever post an online review, I’m happy to make an exception for Luis at Ford’s Plumbing. Previously I had been using the same family owned plumbing company for over 20 years. But when they sold their company, it was time for a change. I am pleased to say that everything that this good about a small independent business can be found at Ford’s Plumbing. They are consistently on time, or their office is calling with an updated arrival time. They do not try to “over sell”, and if any job needs a second look, they are back quickly to fix the issue. You might find another company that is less expensive, but you won’t find another company that is better or faster. I am a relic of the 20th Century and expect to keep my service vendors for decades rather than years. I can confidently recommend Ford’s Plumbing and feel confident that they will be my last plumber.
