I had a great experience with Southern Star Roofing and wanted to share how impressed I was with the service I received. From the start, the appointment was handled professionally, and Jonny White arrived right on time, which I really appreciated. Jonny was polite, knowledgeable, and refreshingly honest. After completing a thorough roof inspection, he didn’t try to sell me on repairs or issues that didn’t exist. Instead, he took the time to clearly explain what was going on, what I should keep an eye on, and what was truly necessary versus unnecessary. That level of transparency speaks volumes about his integrity and the company as a whole. The pricing was also reasonable, and I left the interaction feeling informed, respected, and confident in the guidance I was given. Southern Star did a wonderful job with my roof repairs. They replaced both boots, front and back, on my roof. The repair technician was excellent and was quick and efficient. I mainly worked with Grant Johnson, the project manager and he was an absolute pleasure. He really did a great job explaining to me the issue and how they can go about fixing the boots. I needed both replaced due to leaks and visible damage from some bad storms. Grant made sure to go over the entire process with me, in detail, and made me comfortable moving forward with the replacements. I attached 8 pictures to show the completed work. This is what I want to preface though, the first 4 pictures are the replaced boots with the incorrect matching color shingles. Grant called me and explained to me the situation and that Southern Star was not happy with how this was left. He went out of his way to make sure the roofer went out and got the correct matching shingles and came back out to replace them. The last 4 pictures are just that. The new boots with the matching color shingles. The angles don't do them justice, but they are also new compared to my roof being a few years old, 2018 built. Grant went out of his way to make sure I got the correct color matching shingles on my roof to make things look better. I highly appreciated this and appreciated him calling me directly as soon as he found out. This is 5 star customer service. I will definitely do business with Grant and Southern Star again.

Southern Star did a great job on my roof. I have a very unique and challenging roof that's like two hexagons put together, much like a gazebo roof. The guys did a very clean and quality job. There were some areas requiring extra work, but all was done well in the end. Another item was the masonry chimney. It's also not standard as you can see. Just wanted to show off the great quality flashing the guys did around the chimney. The guys used same color caulk to make sure the flashing looked nice, they used clips to hold down the flashing, rather than the nails straight through. This is very clean and well thought through. Thank you Southern Start, I highly recommend. Brandon the owner and Jonny are great guys, they'll take care of you.
