This hotel has a great location in the Pearl District! The rooms are nicely decorated and very cozy. They also have great sound mitigation, I didn’t hear a thing from the hall or surrounding rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Our Sentinel Hotel stay was perfect. Pleasant streamlined friendly check in, excellent experience at Fortune Restaurant jazz night, beautiful and clean room with the most comfortable bed and sheets. Highly recommend this hotel!
Overall the place is nice but could use some maintenance. Rooms are little musty smelling and have natural gas issues on the 6th floor.

The Sentinel was so welcoming, from the first email that said how glad they were that we chose their hotel to the wonderful staff that completely cared for us likewise were long lost friends. We went to a concert at the Chrystal Ballroom and the hotel was perfectly located for grabbing delicious food on the way or in the hotel itself. Just a truly wonderful experience and we would stay again in a heartbeat! Big plusses for us were the comfy beds and delicious warm showers with great water pressure: )
Beautiful classic hotel, and the complimentary wine is an elevated touch as they have a wine bar with daily happy hour. The scent when you walk in is to die for! I wish I could purchase it in a scent machine as I used to work for a large hotel brand! Everything is very clean and would definitely stay here again if I am back in Portland!
