Truly, a perfect example of capitalism doing it's best to eat the rest of the world. 300+USD per night for the simplest of rooms with a tragic excuse for an architecturally amenable bathroom. The owner of this place must truly appreciate the ability to charge an insane price and then charge for parking, like they forgot to count the rooms per parking spot when they built it. The amenities? None. No pool. No breakfast. Not even a 20 cent bottle of cold water waiting in your fridge or any concept of anything but the bare minimum of cleanly hospitality. A 2 star hotel in a 4 star hotels clothing. Get outta town.
My experience at the Silver Cloud Hotel - Seattle Broadway was truly exceptional. Rizza at the front desk was incredibly communicative and compassionate during an unexpected building issue that required my mom to move to another room. I was at home due to a bathroom renovation to better accommodate my mom’s needs because of her condition and because I couldn’t be there in person at the time, Rizza went above and beyond to help my 77-year-old mother transfer rooms comfortably and safely. As a son who was very worried about his mom, I deeply appreciated the care, professionalism, and kindness Rizza showed throughout the situation. Experiences like this remind you that genuinely good people still exist. Thank you, Rizza, for providing such a five-star guest experience. I truly hope corporate and management recognize the outstanding work you do.

Excellent casual hotel experience. The standard room is fairly roomy for 1 or 2. The contemporary decor was pleasing and the room was very well maintained. Good heating and cooling, easy to use controls and quiet fan. The bathroom is nicely appointed, but the toilet crowds the shower entrance a bit. Excellent service. There is a restaurant attached rather than a breakfast buffet, a slight upgrade. Good lication near Cap Hill, hospitals and downtown. Streetcar in front takes you a couple if blocks from Amtrack. In sum, convenient, comfortable and well run.
We had a tragic disaster ended up stranded and alone in Seattle at the burn center at the this hotel went out of their way to accommodate us to make us feel at home and turned a rain cloud into a rainbow very nice very empathetic. We will have to go back probably multiple times and they told us to call them every time we did and they will take care of us. They go above and beyond. I couldn’t believe it. Great job! I believe Rizza gois was the active manager at the time and another one of the front seat clerks went above and Beyond kudos!
My first time staying at the silver cloud and it was a nice time. The jacuzzi suite was so nice! The only down side is that they charge a substantial fee for parking and no continental breakfast. The restaurant is pretty tasty though.
