Excellent casual hotel experience. The standard room is fairly roomy for 1 or 2. The contemporary decor was pleasing and the room was very well maintained. Good heating and cooling, easy to use controls and quiet fan. The bathroom is nicely appointed, but the toilet crowds the shower entrance a bit. Excellent service. There is a restaurant attached rather than a breakfast buffet, a slight upgrade. Good lication near Cap Hill, hospitals and downtown. Streetcar in front takes you a couple if blocks from Amtrack. In sum, convenient, comfortable and well run.
This hotel was nice and within walking distance of lots of shopping, bars, restaurants. The room is what I would consider average. The large counter and sink outside of the bathroom was nice; however, it would have been nicer to have more closet space. Overall, the room was very clean. The parking garage also felt safe with plenty of parking. I would stay here again because of the location.

My brother and I went to Seattle to watch the Seahawks beat the Rams! SUPER BOWL! Location wasn’t to far away to walk to Lumen Field, right next to a super cool place called the Garage that had 20 pool tables, 20 bowling lanes, and arcade games with some bars for ages 21+. It also had a really tasty restaurant that I think was called Jim’s Broadway that can be ordered to your room. Super awesome service! I had some questions about my billing as I was confused on something that I did not comprehend, because I didn't listen very well. I called the hotel for clarity and Mercury answered my questions like lightening and sent me an itemized bill without me even asking. This is the kind of service that is going above and beyond! The manner in which Mercury handled the situation and the speed and efficiency she did it was very impressive. Working in a service industry, this is the type of service I try to help my teams achieve. So I will always recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling to Seattle!
Updated- the manager reached out and I genuinely think it was a misunderstanding on the hotel’s part with the contractors. This hotel is very nice and I think their lapse in judgment on doing construction in the middle of the night was a one time issue. I just wish there was more communication upfront. The fact that they reached out shows they really do care and want the best for their guests. I will be trying them again next time I am in Seattle. I’m updating to five stars because of their concern for their guests and the hotel itself is very nice and comfortable. Original review- The loudest construction all night long is being done on this hotel. For whatever reason it’s not being done during the day. The entire building is shaking and it’s just so loud. The only offer from the hotel is ear plugs but that doesn’t stop the shaking. Insanity. They are completely ripping the first floor lobby area out and it’s ridiculous that it’s being done at midnight. They didn’t even tell me about it when I first checked in at 6:30pm and there was no construction noise until 9pm. If you had told me I could have found alternative arrangements but instead you just blindside us.
Wow, a real hotel! Things are comfy, clean, and in a great area. Seems rare to find this anymore! And the price was reasonable; too often proprietors (professional, or amateurs) charge multiple hundreds of dollars in major cities, simply because they can. I hope this hotel, and this whole chain, are really as efficient and profitable as it is outwardly apparent, because people really need a hotel like this anywhere they go in the country! Keep up the good work!
